Blog Entry 4:Chinese New Year Celebrations

There was a chinese new year celebration at out school today.There was a flash about why we have chinese new year, why did we have chinese new year and why we clean our house at chinese new year.There was a monster thaat was scared of the colour red.There was a clever old man.He went inside a house and a woman ask him to hide in the mountain but he didn't want to.He maked the whole house red in colour.The monster came and was scared and ran away.Then we have chinese new year.The show was was very nice.Then we have a chinese dance performance, when all the chinese dance members come out and danced.Then come a act by a group of chinese teachers.It was meaningful, they also tell us why we can't sweep the floor, why we have to wear red.Then , it was the lion dance.It was very nice.It was also very noisy.Then we went back to class.It was a fun and meaningful day for this year then other years of chinese new years.
